What this site is

This website describes FWING ELD, an electronic logging device made by FWING GROUP LLC. The site is information only. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and nothing here creates an agreement between you and FWING GROUP LLC.

How FWING ELD service is arranged

FWING ELD is provided under a separate agreement made directly between FWING GROUP LLC and each carrier, after a conversation about that carrier's operation. Prices, hardware, and service details are set in that agreement — never on this website. If anything on this site ever seems to differ from a signed agreement, the agreement is the document that counts.

Accuracy of what you read here

We work to keep this site accurate and to describe the product as it truly is. Product details can change as the product develops. Descriptions of federal rules are summaries written in plain language; the rules themselves — 49 CFR Part 395 and its Appendix A — are the official text, and carriers remain responsible for their own compliance with them.

The driver's own duty

An ELD is a tool. Using FWING ELD does not move a driver or carrier's legal duties: drivers must review and certify their records, watch for malfunctions, and keep paper logs when the rules call for it, and carriers must keep records available as the rules require.

Names and marks

FWING ELD and the FWING wing mark belong to FWING GROUP LLC. Other names mentioned on this site — including Highway — belong to their owners and are used only to describe connections the product can make.
